Umm who knows could have been someone Sandusky hired to take him out. This right here is exactly why I said no one was gonna stop Sandusky because he is capable of anything and this could be something he had done to protect his freedom. Just a thought.

Something that I would like to share about how often this occurs. My brother was part of a high school team in Small Town, USA. His coach was a really great guy who really took an interest in his kids...camping trips, fishing, encouraged them in lots of ways that were beyond the normal scope of "just a coach". Church going guy, married...the picture of a great guy you would want to hang out with and a fine example for your kids. My parents never suspected a thing. Would not dream of anything unsavory going on. They did not know he was a pedophile. They did not know he was taking kids on camping trips and buying them alcohol, drugs...simply never knew. This is a school with a TOTAL population at the time of 300 kids...nobody knew. He got away with it.

So: Take a hard look at the people around your kids. Make sure you really KNOW what is going on, and take an interest in what they are doing, ride along, take part. Those steps can prevent this kind of thing from happening to your kids.

Doesn't really matter. Children were brutalized, adults were made aware, situation was ignored, more children were brutalized because of the inatention of the adults.

Whatever the number of children ends up being having been raped since then (and it's already grown) the guilt of inaction can be laid on heads of those at Penn State who did NOTHING. And they were all justified in getting fired. MY outrage right now is that McQueary is still part of the staff.

They were in positions they were with responsibilities and they all failed miserably. Graham Spanier, Tim Curley, Joe Paterno and Mike McQueary should individually be ashamed of themselves.

PQ I think you're wrong on this as more information comes out. I think Sandusky really needs to be taken a look at alot more in depth. I'm starting to think Sandusky not only a creep but was a very powerful controlling man who would use means of murder to silence anyone that knew what he may have been doing or blackmailed others. This DA and Lawyer going missing screams violence being threaten or occured on behalf of Sandusky to get whatever that was uncovered covered back up. This man had demons that go wayyyy deeper then we know and no one was going to stand in his way I repeat NOONE not Joe PA, PSU officials not even Law People.

I think more needs to be looked at the second mile then looking as to whos to blame at PSU. I'm telling you this behavior was happening lonngggg before he started taking kids onto PSU property. I 100% believe he created the second Mile back in the 80s when he did for the reason of fulfilling his urges to do what he did to these kids. A person like him typically won't touch his own kids but the demons and urges are so great that he has to fullfill those needs and does so by going outside of his family. Theres a reason he kept adopting kids and being a foster parent and it wasn't to help them kids but to fullfill his needs.

PSU just happened to be in wake of his destruction and happened to be his downfall at the same time as his character confidence and sense of being invincible grew he became bolder and risk exposure. This man in the dark is a very controlling force and I honestly believe that he was waiting in the parking lot in 2000 waiting for the Janitor that witnessed him performing sexual acts to come out and make him disappear, why else would he have been circling the parking lot ALONE at 3am in the morning. This is a scary guy and I think it's time everyone open their eyes up and realize PSU was caught in the crossfires, could they have done something yes but maybe they FEARED this man and FEARED for their own lives. Theres no greater Motivation of Fear of your own life that makes you think only about self perservation.

You are correct, and with that comes powerful donors abuse comes very powerful people involved to silence any and everyone that threaten their dirty little secret. This DA, and LAWYER missing is not by accident.
