No he cited the names and the exact sources, by giving the news service and the player name allowing me to look up the players comments.

You just stated "numerous players" so far just 1 and then you stated 2 names, one of which was gone for the last five years and one who wasn't apart of the program since the 70s.

Um no. By definition, Joe had second hand knowledge. The GA had first hand knowledge. And, this is not a troll, this is an honest question, but where did you see that he was running the PSU childrens program?

So Posluzny and Ham aren't good sources? And for the record I actually liked Paterno and respected his program. NOT ANYMORE. And by the way PSU isn't in tOSU's league, now or ever.

If you are referring to the Second Mile, post 2002 He was banned from using the facilities for Second Mile Programs and did not do so (at least in anything I can find)

Exactly. And Joe takes the hit as well because of the same reason. Even second hand Joe has the power.

What you need to understand is that we have had Joe Paternos reputation shoved down our throats on Satturdays for years. And I always respected him based on that. Joe gets vilified because he was the most powerful man there. If some stupid recievers coach goes to the cops with that story it gets investigated and goes from there. If JOE PATERNO calls the cops or goes to them shit gets done. He had weight he could have thrown at this, and didn't. Indictments dont' add immorality and irresponsibility outside the law. With the fact we have now, I'm satisfied that Joe Paterno has been grosly and disgustingly negligent in that aspect.

I can promise you and say without reservation if I knew or had a good idea that someone, ANYONE, right now was doing that, or had done that, I'd make it my number one priority to find out. And I have NO power. Most people would. Joe put the University over the rape of a child.

Again, Joe is the guy with the power. I agree, McQueary should be brought up on charges. And at the very least should have his ass beaten severly. But, again, Joe Paternos 'Charachter' has been in our face, even across the country, for a long time now. We know the power he had. Joe had more power than anyone on that campus.

Actually, the banning from Campus came last weekend after the grand jury indictment came down and Sandusky was arrested. Before the indictment, he was told no more bringing children on campus. Again, this was done by Spanier, Curley, and Schultz...too little and way too late. They had the power to stop him from having access to the facility and they did not take it away. They failed and deserve to face the charges that they have been charged with.

They didn't have knowledge of the first victim. You are reading the report wrong yes they List him as VICTIM 1 but in reality he was the 8th victim at that point. The grand jury list them by the order they came forth with the information not the order they were victims. That's easy to see as victim 1 timeline was from 2006 to 2009 which clearly shows he wasn't the first victim and at that time when this victim was being touched and everything else Sandusky was NOT bringing him unto PSU campus so Joe PA and PSU officials would have no knowledge of this boy as he wasn't on PSU campus.

I'm aware of the order. Joe and the administration knew that Sandusky was a threat to children, correct? And they kept their mouths shut for years knowing that pedo's never stop, but hey, as long as its not happening on "our campus" its ok. Shame on Joe and PSU.

I'm starting to see its pointless people can't make out the differences around here. You are correct the second mile program still held its events at PSU, but they weren't allowed to use the locker rooms or anything behind close doors anymore after 2002.

Also people need to realize that this program was no longer Sandusky's personal program but was bigger then him now and he was just the face of the program but this program was bigger then just the PSU location as three others location around the nation was also second mile programs.
