Is it possible to convert a LLT engine from gas to alcohol not e85???? I know that it is not a problem to convert a engine that has a carb but is it possible to covert the LLT with direct injection?

Not to many gas stations sell alcohol last time I checked.

Yea I would have to buy a 55gal drum most likely and how much $$$ would it take to convert?

From what I remember on the race car, you also use twice as much methanol as gas too. All the pills in our injector almost doubled when we switched. You are probably looking at a new pump, bigger lines, injectors, throttle body, sensors, plugs, special tune, and who knows what else...

I imagine the cost would be far greater than the reward, but it would be interesting none the less.

We use 2.5-3 times the methanol vs gas in our drag motors. Very destructive fuel as far as the corrosiveness and the amount of water it wicks....probably could do it, just not anywhere near the power gasoline will give as the HPFP will not keep up if 2-3 times the fuel delivery is needed.
