Chuckle for the day.....

Heaven is Results Oriented
A minister dies and is waiting in line at the Pearly Gates.

Ahead of him is a guy who's dressed in sunglasses, a loud

shirt, leather jacket and jeans.

Saint Peter addresses this cool guy, "Who are you, that I may

know whether or not to admit you to the Kingdom of Heaven?"

The guy replies, "I'm Peter Pilot, retired Delta Airlines."

Saint Peter consults his list. He smiles and says to the pilot,

"Take this silken robe and golden staff and enter the Kingdom."

The pilot goes into Heaven with his robe and staff.

Next it's the minister's turn. He stands erect and booms out,

"I am Joseph Snow, pastor of Saint Mary's in Pasadena for

the last 43 years."

Saint Peter consults his list. He says to the minister,

"Take this cotton robe and wooden staff and enter

the Kingdom."

"Just a minute," says the minister. "That man was a pilot

and he gets a silken robe and golden staff, and I get only

cotton and wood. How can this be?"

"Up here---we work by results," says Saint
Peter. "When you preached - people slept;

when he flew - people prayed."

This set of posts is way to long to read, but I went over it lightly.

Old Farts with young cars.
Do you mean the age of the car??
Because from my understanding is once you are considered a OLD FART odds have you driving a Vette, specially a new one where no work is necessary to have a fast good handling car.
So I would then guess since I don't own a new Vette, I'm not considered a OLD FART, just someone all most as old as dirt!!!

Welcome to our little corner of the world TooManySS's. What we mean (I think) is that a muscle car, especially a Camaro, is usually considered a car for young folks (not the age of the car necessarily). But, here we are, old as dirt, like you said and still loving our "American muscle".

Are you in Palmyra N.Y. I am familiar with that part of upstate N.Y.

Yes, right across the street from the fairgrounds.
I take it you've been here in July for the pageant?

I worked for Eastman Kodak for 30 years before being laid off. I used to get to go to Rochester once or twice a year. I only made it out there during the pageant 2 or 3 times in all those years. Awesome presentation.

I can't quite place where the fairgrounds are. But, I used to drive out to Palmyra from Rochester every time I was there if I had the time and the use of a rental car. Very nice little community there. Hope taxes aren't as high as I've heard about for Rochester.

Happy Monday all!!!
