I dont see us getting rain anytime soon. and todays humidity dropped to 16% and the winds are picking up, doesn't look good. They just need to stay away from my place. Closest one is 28 miles away.

Youre telling me. I've been checking the fire maps on wunderground and watching the twitter feed for centraltxfires/txfires. If I see Willis, the town just north, I'm freaking out.

I think the average is 9 for the valley annually. Seems like its raining every day up in the mountains, especially Forest Lakes.

We usually get LOTS of rain in the spring and then have a dry summer but we haven't had any rain since Oct. I think we've had like 2 inches since Oct.

Yeah it was pretty dry the first half of the year til the monsoons hit. Got dry enough that there was a 540,000 acre forest fire (Wallow Fire) about 50 miles east of Show Low extending into eastern New Mexico. That was the largest wild fire our state has ever had.
