Didn't want kolb. Wanted orton. Which I don't think is happening now. Denver is asking too much.

Welcome Chad
Its a smart move by bellicheck. He relized no matter who the jets sign (either nnamdi or cro) that branch an welker will be shutdown. With ocho cinco....uh excuse me johnson (he said he would change his name back if revis shut him down...and he did twice) bellicheck now can keep welker in the slot. That keeps the pressure off the middle of the field for T.E.'s to do their thing.

Now your nickel and safety have to still watch the sidelines and can't focus 100% on the middle.

Kolb is overrated. I don't see why everyone is down on Orton. He os a really good productive qb.

Orton is solid and Miami needs him bad... but in my book Orton is better... Time will tell because both of these guys are going to get their shot this year.

....and so is McNabb..

Am I the only female football fan in this forum????

So - Even though I'll miss him in Seattle, I'm glad Hasselbeck landed in Tennessee - he'll be a great mentor for Jake Locker (another hometown hero for us Seattleites) just as Favre was for Hasselbeck... I'm looking forward to watching the Titans this year...

But seriously, so damn stoked about both college and pro football this year!!!
I can cheer for the 49ers - if they're not playing the Seahawks - us NFC West fans gotta stick together, we get so much crap....

Yeah, college ball should be interesting... I'm gonna have a hard time getting used to saying PAC 12...
Hoping my alma mater (WSU Cougars) can actually make a bowl game this year. Paul Wulff has done wonders with them. Been a fan for 20+ years, through the good, the bad, and the ugly - back when NFL announcers would use the phrase "Couged it" for a really bad loss - and I still love 'em. That's the Coug logo tattooed on my ankle in my sig.... (the Seahawk is on the other side! )

I told my kid last night...."don't be surprised if Chad Johnson reemerges..... and so do his stats"
Watch for the name change & for him & Haynesworth to conform to Belichicks routine.

I think we gave up too much for Kolb, but we had nothing last year.
