If someone who's 350 pounds can get down to 175 pounds (which is reasonable for anyone shorter than 6'-4" tall) then that's a pretty serious weight reduction that your car doesn't have to lug around, let alone your own body.

this is so true, my buddy has a Nova and he is a huge dude, weighs around 480 pounds, he ran consistent 11.70's with the car and I when he let me take it down the track I ran 11.40's (300 pound weight difference)
