MAN IS IT HOT!! part 2

Man its hot, but this is pitiful. While walking around the University of DE campus today my wife and I came upon this poor little guy. He was sitting in one of the shady spots outside of one of the buildings laying flat against the bricks in an attempt to get cooled down. If you look close you can actually see his toungue hanging out. We tried to get down to mainstreet to get some water but he was gone when we got back. The actual temperature out there was close 100 degrees with the humidity it felt like it was close to 120 degrees.

Are you sure that's not a squirrel skin cap someone discarded for being too warm?

still in the 90's here right now and very humid, also going to 100 here tomorrow, I hate this weather, I have friends that moved to Florida from here in RI and they tell me to move there, no way would I want to live anywhere that this is normal weather, I'll take the Winters anytime over this.

I agree - we want summer! I read in the paper today that someone added up all the time we've had weather above 80 this year... Seattle has had 78 minutes of summer!

The squirrels in Phoenix are laughing at him.

we got squirrels that do that here all the time... they will actually do that on the railing on the back porch and hang off the side of the rail .

I just got home from Niagra Falls and when we were there we spent ten minutes watching a squirrel bury its head in a potato chip bag making sure it did not miss a single crumb. I was afraud he was going to roll over the cliff and into the Niagra river 175' below. 96 degrees there and no breeze except right next to the falls.
