taking my son in to the recuriters office
well just before my son left for Georgia June 18th, he asked me for his 17th birthday (which is the 21st of this month) if I would take him in to the Recruiters office to enlisten.
Well we are going in a few days earlier that way, he can check out the jobs & talk to them. lol I know he will past the pysical stuff & he already took the ASVAB two years ago. but let see what happens when he really talks to the guys. |

well we had problems trying to find a Recuiter, lol, the one on base PCSed to TX. The one in Spanaway was the same guy, so had to call the guys in Olympia set up an appointment for Today, at 3pm. but dad needs to go in with us, so we were going to cancel it until friday. Dang it they are all going on vacation until mid august.
So it has to be today. DANG IT. Oh well. dan can go in the morning to sign paperwork |

My Dad was Air force during Viet Nam, I'm a Coastie that served during the Gulf War/Desert Storm. You all get my utmost THANKS and respect, I certainly wish him well!

well after having a bad day at work, got home got him showered & changed & on the road.
They changed locations on us, the battery died on my vette in the middle of traffic so now its got a cute little wrinkle in the drivers side fender. as soon as dad goes in & signs the paperwork, He will be shipped to MEPS as soon as Next thursday, he would be 17yrs & one week.
