why do ricers dress like there straight outta the hood

When I seen this car on the way to work this puzzled me. I saw a white kid in a riced out honda dressed in a black hoodie and a durag. And its 80something out side. Then I thought to myself every time I do see a ricer thats whats in the car. why is that?

Such a great question. Just saw a integra with a punk in it who was dressed like he was about to go shoot Tupac or something. I guess they get a discount from hoods r us if they buy eBay fart cans???

We used to wear baggy jeans when I was a kid and some how we thought that made us look tough. Just remember every kid goes through this little D-bag stage, whether they ever grow out of it is another matter though...

I wear a hoodie everyday to work. My office is 65 degrees and the server room is around 50 degrees. No durag though.

Nice, I got one store like that. They installed an AC unit in the office and it doesn't hit any other part of the building. Basically its like putting an AC unit in your walk-in closest. Everyone wonders why I'm always hanging out there during the summer.

i used to dress like i was straight out the hood, well i tried too in my highschool years. It was a phase. I'm sure they just grew up around people dressed like that and the picked up on it. Its a "cool" factor for them, especially with ricers. They think dressing ghetto and driving and integra with a horribly installed exhaust (aka fart cannon) makes them look bad ass. But to them its normal, i wanted to be one of those, but most of my friends that i had were the same way, and it was a way to be in the "in" crew. Sounds very immature and there are many that don't grow out of it. Could be that they are always around people like that or just really do think they are cool and most can be very poor and they find that as there only way to look cool to other people. Even if its wearing a blacked lined hoodie with 5 sizes too big jeans in hot/humid miami weather.
