They are not essential however they are superior to the stock endlinks.

End links attach to the sway bar on one end, and the suspension arm on the other. They help transmit rolling forces between the two, and the stock OE end links tend to work with aftermarket sways, but aren't as effective as the aftermarket end links. The stage two kit allows for the stiffer tolerance the new sways add to the suspension geometry.

The stock end links are pretty flimsy. If you plan on hitting the track at all I would go ahead and get them. If your use is 100% street you can probably get by without them.

are the stock end links likely to bend if you hit the track with the beefier bars?

The OEM end links are definitely a weak link with regards to strength. As has already been touched on in this thread, if you're planning on tracking your car or adding grip with sticky tires it's a good idea to upgrade your OEM endlinks.

Our spherical endlinks do not make noise when properly installed, and when coupled with our Control Arm Stiffeners they really do beef up the sway bar system as a whole.
