The first one is going to be hard to beat. Well done, and looks exactly like something they'd be selling at Starbucks.

I think one pitfall is folks thinking they need skills to do it.

All I used was MS paint that comes pre install on every windows OS

That was the luck of the draw, though many do some how make sense, how the band title and pic match each other.

Though Im sure it would sell ok by cover art alone

Then fill it with really anal and pretentious music to rake it in

And how to cut copy and paste in MS Paint. Making it real quick to create a banner image.

Which was then written into the company "book" what they show investors as part of what we do that. But written out in tech details and 100 steps so it looks important. Which gets everyone fired as you don’t need 100s of folks anymore, and then he quits out of guilt for the evil he created. Which still lives today.

Like my own silicone valley story

I downloaded and installed gimp, because the instructions said use photoshop, gimp, or something similar. I didn't have photoshop, and wasn't going to pay for it (or steal it). Oddly enough, when I googled "something similar" I didn't find anything to use that combine my band, title, and picture. So I went with gimp. Would have gone with paint and saved some download & install time (and a bit of hard drive space) but it was not mentioned in the instructions.

Mindz, I demand restitution for the 20 MB of bandwidth you caused me to use without just cause. Additionally, you must also reinburse me for the ~15 minutes of install time. I will take the hit on the user manual as that is entirely my fault, as there was nothing in the instructions that told me to download it. However, you do owe me for the ~15 minutes it took me to write this post since it could have been avoided: if you told me I could have played this game while using MS paint, I would never had to write this.

So, in summary you owe me 20 MB of bandwidth and half an hour of my time. You can just e-mail it to me if you like.

That is all.

Think outside the box. Or in this case, inside the box.
