The Military Thread has been kinda quiet lately. Any more military guys/gals out there? I was just reminded tonight by another thread about the GM Military Discount. I e-mailed them on their website to ask if there was going to be any discounts given on the Camaro. I'll let ya'll know what they say when I get an answer. If it is good news, maybe I'll have to delay my retirement until my Camaro gets delivered!!!

According to the folks at GM, it has been undetermined yet what incentives will be available for the 2010 Camaro, and it won't be determined until the official release. So I guess we'll have to wait until they start showing up to see what kind of discount we might be able to get. Hope you're more patient than me!!!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you! Sincerely! If I were president you would not only get a military discount but as part of the GM bail out I would make sure that each of you get new 2010 camaros for free, and yes before I get mine! Thank you all and God Bless!

U.S. Army 1971-1976
SP-5, 32D-Fixed Station Technical Controller All of my time after MOS training was spent in Belgium at S.H.A.P.E. (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe). Andrew Goodpaster was Supreme Allied Commander when I arrived there in '72 and Alexander Haig was Allied Commander in '76 when I left. Honestly, if I hadn't gotten drafted and then used the G.I. Bill to go to college, I really have no idea where I'd be today. There was little direction in my life when that draft notice arrived back in '71, but it absolutely was one of the best things to ever happen to me in my life. Thank you Uncle Sam!!! :flag2:

I've been trying to come up with something to say to my cousin before his first tour in Iraq in the Marines that is unique ish I guess. I know that I dont want to sound like the rest of my family, my mom and all my aunts is saying be careful blah blah blah, and my cousins, dad, and uncles are saying good luck. I would like to hear about anything any of you have heard from your friend or family that was motivating and empowering. Thanks in advance.
