I've lost my Best Friend - Page 3

Im very sorry to hear about your loss. I know people without pets may not understand the bond that us pet owners have. Its like loosing one of our kids.

We lost our daughter Dec. 23 2008, Holley (yes spelled right) who was a Sheltie. She was the love our lives and she was very special to us and suffered many years with seigures. We were able to stay by her side and say good bye :( . There is a poem called Rainbow Bridge that gives us plenty of comfort even to this day.

sorry for your loss, I lost my 8yo. Boston Terrier (Lexee) to cancer back in June, I am still very sad and I know how tough of a time this is for you and your wife.

Sorry about your lose. They are like our children. In time you can get a puppy and help some of the healing.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your best friend. What a nice tribute though, recognizing Cassie by way of this thread.

Time will heal your pain, although you will never forget. Maybe in a couple months you and your wife will be ready to adopt a "new" best friend.

I lost my schnauzer, Fremont, after 16 years. Went to a web site called petloss.com, it has a forum that will give you a chance to say farewell to your pet.

such a good friend all his life. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about him. All his puppy ways and his mature ways were priceless.

Special pets bring us love and such.. but some bring us much more, life.
Inside my heart is where my best friend still lives. I miss him so much too.
