De-Chromed Bow-ties & Radar visor mount
I took my bow-ties and "SS" emblems off my car a few weeks ago and took them over to John @ Jack's Paint Place in Converse to get the chrome stripped off and painted all flat black with a nice and shiny bright red trim.
Also finally got around to installing my visor mount & invisicord for my radar. Those suction cups actually worked great for me for the past 7-8 months, but that and the big bulky power cable just didnt look that good. Here are some before and after pics of the radar mount, and then some pics of my newly painted bow-ties. I dont remember where I ordered the radar mount & invisicord from, but I'll find out and update the post... or I'll forget to update it or just never get around to updating it... so oh well... Radar visor mount/bracket from southerncarparts.com http://www.southerncarparts.com/cama...nt-p-2653.html Invisicord Radar powered mirror power cord from invisicord.com http://invisicord.com/osc2/catalog/p...products_id=31 I ordered the 12" invisicord and it just barely fits with the radar mounted on the passenger side, because the cord plugs in on the far side of the radar (passport 8500). If I were to order another one, I would definitely order the 16" for $1 more, but the 12" does work.

D'oh! I wanted to know because my cord keeps ripping the radar off the suction cups. >.<
