Sounds to me like someone did a very good job of parenting. Very sweet. Enjoy these days. He's right, soon they will both be out on their own & you will watch from afar.

OP, that is awesome. I understood what you're title implied after I read the 1st sentence of that letter. I have 4 kiddos, 2 boys and 2 girls. Your son seems like a pretty level headed young man in terms of his feelings towards his family and others. Happy B-Day to your daughter and congrats on raising a fine young man
