The amount of room to get in it doesn't concern me as much as the room that is left to get out of it after a crash.

Thanks for the laugh, I thought that you had just bought a new mustang or something.

Well, where else would you put your sack of groceries? There looks to be minimal trunk space.....

My GF and I love those cars! We have such a laugh every time we see one! Not smart at all! I prefer my motorcycle over that POS!

And yet, as a few of my team members and I were on our way to Chicago for a paintball game, we got passed by a smart car... and we were doing the standard 5 mph over the limit (on the interstate) Must have had a tailwind or something!

I was surprised when I drove a friend of mine's smart car. I'm 6'-2" and had plenty of room in it. His had paddle shifters that made it pretty fun to drive. It's like driving a street legal go kart. They're goverened at 90mph.... Yikes, I'm never trying that. It does 0-60 in something like 13 seconds but my favorite part was the fact you could do a U turn on a small 2 lane road. The turning circle on that thing is measured in inches.... Not feet.

They call it "Smart" because calling it "realy small, dangerous, slow, and no room at all" would be a bad marketing concept.

I was at the mall in my 1997 Yukon. As I was walking back to my truck I saw a Smart for 2. (2 seater). The lady was getting out of it and I asked her how she liked it. She said it was the safest car on the road. I asked who told her that, "the dealer" she replied. I told her I drove that tank over there and I would hate to be in an accident with a car like hers. She replied, "me too, my car would total that SUV." Now that is good PR.

yeah i can always tell when the traffic is backed up on the way to work, there will be a smart car in the right lane trying like hell to do 60 in a 70.
