I'd imagine it'd be priced roughly around the CTS-V. maybe 5k under.

lawl Caddy vs. Chally. It'd be interesting to see who would win on a nurburgring run.

I still like Dodges tenacity to up the ante, perhaps GM will have a little extra motivation to put the V powerplant in a Z28

Yeah, so now GM has incentive to stay in the running by making a Z/28 or something. Good news. Wonder how much weight that will add to the already hefty bulk of the challenger.

Someone said that this car will be too expensive for a normal man to buy and will just be for the crowd looking to spend money on nostalgia and the bragging rights of saying he has a 600hp retro car. It'll most likely be low production as well. But I think that mindset is true of most dodge owners. They're obsessed with the look and they want a car that looks retro. I think the Challenger is way too expensive and big to mod and make into a serious car. The Camaro's lower price and the value of offering a 422hp engine in a serious handler for 31k will make it the choice of anyone wanting a serious car that's still luxurious and refined.

you must not stay current considering TVS series Eatons are more efficient the prochargers now, especially at high engine speeds

I like the idea of a V10 Challenger, but this is ugly looking. The hood looks cheap, and the chin spoiler looks like it came from Walmart. The current Challenger is beautiful; if it ain't broke don't fix it.

hmm i looked at this from a financial point of view and this is why Chrysler is currently the smallest of Detroit's Big Three. Clearly they have no idea where the market is going haha this is way opposite of what it's going.

then i looked at it from a car enthusiast's point of view, and well it's somewhat cool, I think this car is just trying to get attention because of all the Camaro's buzz lately, just my opinion. I mean clearly Dodge new they weren't going to win with their current versions of Challengers because Camaro's are faster (speculating), cheaper (price wise not quality wise), and they are a better quality (again just speculating here). So they decided they needed to "win" and to be honest I'd rather have a Camaro over this. It looks like it was assembled in 2 minutes, and it looks like one of my hot wheels cars I had from when I was younger.

I give it a thumbs down

I'll be somewhat impressed if it is actually lighter. The V10 is alumnium but will still probably weigh the same if not more than the 6.1.

It seems like using enough carbon fiber to significantly lower the weight would jack the price up.
