For those who haven't had children yet, it's a lot of sleepless nights. BUT, that doesn't last forever.
LOL Just one more reason I've never wanted children. When I can give them back is when I like them.

As for your son, I've heard babies fall asleep whenever you take them for a ride. (Or is that a myth?) Anyway, take him out in the SS and go for a ride, looking for the new magazine!
They do fall alseep really easily when taking them on a drive. We used to do that w/ our older one when he refused to go down. This one was asleep last night, but kept dreaming. We had him swaddled (wrapped like a burrito) and everything but he still managed to continuously wake himself up. I'm going to call around a few places in a few minutes to see if I can find the mag.

It's only for a few months, but it's worth every second of the sleepless nights.

On top of this, I found we have another celebrity amongst us! Let's all give a big congratulations to Turtle and Naomi (aka "silverturtle"). Turtle, well Naomi, well...both of them kind of got in!!!

Flip the page over to page 96 and you will see Naomi's SOM SS. It is a beautiful ride. BUT, there was a mix up and Turtles Z28 had the write up done. So...I guess you could say they both got in the mag!!! Maybe they'll both get lucky and they'll have to do an edit next month showing off both rides...

I would highly suggest everyone else who sent in their info go and check out the issue to see if they got in. There's a few more in there!

1. Gerardo Lara from Fontana, CA w/ an 02 Z28
2. Alfred Lately from Davie, FL w/ a 00 SS
3. Chet Casey from Tulsa, OK w/ a 71 Camaro
4. Terry Mcleod from Fort St. John, BC, Canada w/ a 69 RS/SS
5. Mark Schmidt from Port Arthor, TX w/a 98 SS

Congrats to all!

Sounds good. Nice little blurb for your wall. I'm picking up a copy in a bout 10 minutes.

Grats again to everyone who made it in.

August Issue of Popular hot Rodding

Well, this totally PALES in comparison but, WAAAY in the back of the latest Popular Hot Rodding, page 119, there's a TINY pic of the concept vert when it was here in Huntington Beach at Donut Derelicts. In it I can see my wife, my local Chevy Fleet Manager, and myself.
But ya know, the guy that drove it into the lot and a photographer both worked for Hot Rod so I'm expecting to see a pretty good article about it in THERE soon.

I appreciate that. It was the first magazine where I had pix and a story put in a mag. My neighbor, who is a single female in late 30's to early 40's, had her father over helping her do stuff to her house. I was cutting the grass and had the SS out in the driveway to get the lawnmower out. The father was leaving and slowwwwwly drove off staring at my car. . She asked why her dad was staring at my car. She obviously didn't know about Camaro's. I filled her in on the scoop and also showed her the mag. She was impressed. It was a pretty cool situation. The only other time I got in a mag was in Chevy Hi-Po regarding the 5th Gen...think I have the article somwhere.

I'd toss in the whole shot, but the print gets kinda small.
