Painted Antenna - Shark Fin

Here are some before-and-after photos of my On Star antenna, aka: the Shark Fin. I had it painted Victory Red by Rodgers Chevrolet, in Woodhaven, Michigan. Their price was $189 with a $50 core charge. Therefore, my net cost was $139.

Becky Doyle handled the entire job and I can’t say enough about her customer service and overall professionalism. I am very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the look of the antenna. So much so, that this post is an unashamed plug for her and Rodgers Chevrolet.

Thanks Alfie, glad you like it. Car looks great. We're happy to do any color, they all help a great looking car look even better. We'll paint it and send it to you with instructions to install. Send us back the original antenna and get a $50 credit for the core. Net cost $139. Call or PM or email if anyone is interested.

I'm interested, my only question is how hard is it to install and would I need any special tools?

Can't shoot any more pics at this time....weather is getting wet and the car is now stored for a 3 month winters nap.

However: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ight=shark+fin
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ainted+antenna

I did not DIY. I had a dealer technician friend do it for me. He had to drop the headliner.
