Your biggest complaint is that the rocker panels are unpainted?
![]() Yeah! Every 5th gen Honda Civic owner knows that painting those rocker panels adds 75 whp!!! If it bothers you that much, get a black Challenger |

(300-400lbs) ![]() As for the reason(s) i dont like the challenger. a. its built on a sedan platform. we saw this on the charger... which is why the charger is more of a rental car than a muscle car. b. the thing is a whale. i dont know whether to start it up, or harpoon the thing. c. its height. being an overly LONG car is one thing, but this car stands too high. it gives off a, im a showcar, not a car to be driven seriously, look. d. the interior. if i was blindfolded and led into the car, only to be shown the interior. i wouldnt know which dodge i was sitting in. try confusing the interior on a camaro. e. did i mention its a heffer? f. the back lights. as cool as i THOUGHT they were in pictures, only parts of the lights even light up. its like, half of them were false imitations of black lights. g. the fake carbon fiber stripes. on a 42k dollar car. seriously? |

You try to argue the whole 300-400 lb argument then when I prove you wrong you move down to the v6 weight lol. w.e facts are: both cars were built on existing platforms(lx and zeta to save money) both have IRS both used existing engines from existing models. price of camaro is unknown and might end up being close to the challenger price but it Will be cheaper. But by how much? the big difference imo is: the interior of the camaro looks like a ricer with all that plastic imo. the car is tiny IMO it looks like a saturn sky. rear is too small and so is the front. I am so glad dodge went with the lx because it looks like a true muscle car. the rear of the camaro looks like a fugly vette, shouldve stuck with the long likes of the old camaro imo. BTW do some research the challenger starts at 3720 curb weight. you are still cool though lol. |

![]() And while we are nitpicking tail lights like a Civic forum trying to decide which Altezzas look best on a 91 Wagovan, the C4 ZR-1 had Vega tail lights. ![]()

ahhhemm.... ok... here it goes. A. The challys curb weight is 3720? is that the one with 80 hp? And when your comparing the V6 it IS 300 - 400 is it not?? B. The Chally's platform is the biggest reason the car will flop and die off before the camaro or the mustang. it was a mistake and chrysler should have thought about this before making it. The camaro's Zeta platform is brand new. And it wasnt for saving money, one of the biggest reason's Zeta was made was for Cars like the Camaro... how many years has the 300 and charger been sitting on the challengers? C. The price of the Camaro WILL be cheaper, GM isnt going under as fast as Dodge is. D. the interior of the Camaro looks like a ricer... you know... this single handidly might invalidate your entire argument ha. have you ever even been in a ricer car?? or better yet... have you ever even been in a 69' Camaro??? you know, the one the interior is modled after?? seriously, its almost hard to reply to this, seeing as Dodge gives the world the most bland, PLASTIC, and Boring interior's that you could possibly find in any car. Its like years ago they drew up the interior on their first car, and the designer died. "ahh screw it. put it in all the cars. works well enough" E. The Camaro being a smaller car is one of the best things about it. GM didnt build the Car for YOU any more than they built it for ME. The car is for everyone, and more people preffer to drive cars that dont look like they were born near a radio-active plant. I dont want to feel like im navigating my ship through traffic when i drive my car, i want to feel like i have more control. the size of the chally makes it sluggish, unstable, and just horrible looking. you may argue the older cars were just as big. thats BS. ive seen a 71' chally NEXT to a new one. the new one DWARFs the car. the only resmblance is the headlights and huge rendition of its body style. F. The rear of the Camaro didnt hit me as being the best aspect of the car when i first saw it either. but honestly, after seeing it for such a long time, i LOVE the back of the car. The Camaro is such a sexy car its amazing. that really is the best word for the lines on the Camaro. Sexy. its like they used a woman as the motivation towards the lines on this car. The after burner lights on the Camaro DOMINATE the plastic crap on the back of the chally. I wish i could say that there was ANY motivation other than, lets throw something together really fast and see if we can make some money off it, for the Dodge execs. It really looks like a blotched job. But you know what, its all good. this is all IMO.

Lol I could argue you all day but lets agree to disagree.
but to correct you: the zeta is not new it has been used on other models. the challenger used lx , an existing platform to save money and save the company. And it looks like gm did the same. check the market GM is going down faster than chrysler. Chrysler was the only one of the big 3 to make money last quarter. GM stock is great to invest in right now since it is in the crapper. none of the big three are going under but the least likely to go under right now is chrysler since they actually made money last quarter. |

Zeta has been used on other models yes, but it was made for the Camaro. Keep in mind, zeta has been out a couple years, but the camaro has been being built for 4. Chrysler made money because they jumped ship on so much of their junk, not because they are turning it around. That profit was a one time thing. i know stocks. GM is the one to buy, because its low now, but out of the big 3 GM will rebound to be the greatest. id jump on board. Chrysler is actualy the one that would be the first to go down, mostly because, its the weakest and has very little value. GM and Ford are both heavily backed by alot of very wealthy people who want to see them stay around for a long time. |

And I agree if chrysler does not get into the fuel efficient bandwagon they will plunder. If they go down or not I will have my challenger before! BTW I have been looking at ford lately and they seem pretty bad, the only thing keeping them alive is the mustang. |

Get your challenger now, if dodge does go under, imagine the resale value! Ford is not doing so hot... the mustang is their big seller so expect them to try to make it "all it can be" for this next gen.... otherwise adios fordos |
