Full roll cage options
So I've been eyeing this roll cage. It's the only kit I've seen for our cars. I'm curious if there's another option, how this one is or if I should just get a custom cage installed. I currently have the half cage and it's time I put a full in the car.

This is the only kit I've seen.
This link works https://trackspecmotorsports.com/rol...-roll-cage-kit

I scrapped my plans to do a cage in my ZLE and bought a Camaro bodied TA2 car. My reasons were:
I didn’t want to kill a nice car for the street Not many good cage offferings I could find Can’t get out of the window opening as it is with a helmet on if the door gets pinned shut Unibody is expensive to prohibitive to repair if badly damaged |

Great points! The window opening is a drag with this car, for sure. Not sure what GM was thinking there, building a track capable car and leaving the window that size. Really that point is my only concern, my car is already track only, gutted, race seats etc ... It's not even registered anymore so I feel like a cage is the logical next modification.

Well I finally did it, bought the trackspec roll cage and finally got around to installing it in the car. The cage fit together great! One pipe they forgot to notch but that was easy enough to do. I'm not much of a welder and this is a pretty tough way to try to learn but I am really happy I chose to tackle it. The removable steering wheel is pretty slick, I relocated the rev match and the directional sel buttons to the dash. Definitely a huge project and quite a pain fitting all the dash panels and seats back in. I'll clean it up and paint it eventually but I'm in a time crunch right now.

Thanks! I'm thinking it might be about time to actually learn how to drive it now!! Honestly just HPDE and some time trial type stuff. I don't have the budget for any actual racing. The consumables already kill me, so I save money by doing all my own work.
