Banks iDash DataMonster with Banks WB O2 Sensor Issue (Solved)
Is anyone running the Banks iDash DataMonster/SuperGuage with the Bank's O2 WB sensor kit. I can't for the life of me get it to read AFR. I've followed the instructions to the letter. Power is good. The display doesn't move from 0. I've tried switching channels, tables, etc. Nothing seems to work. At this point, it looks like I'll have to give Banks a call and speak to one of their techs. Any guidance would be welcomed.

Do you have it connected using their Canbus converter to the iDash? Are you running one or two iDash units and selected which is the Master yet?

I have one idash unit connected via obdII. It has two 6 pin connectors, the wideband module is connected to it via the second connector. Everything looks good as far as the installation instructions. I'm stumped.

Here are some gauge settings. The last photo gives the AFR options but they seem to be commanded, not readable, if that makes sense. I'm a little noobish when it comes to this so please bear with me

In case anyone running the same combination encounters the same issues, the 4 channel module required a firmware update. The update fixed the table voltages not saving. It's very strange since the latest update was from 2020 and I just recently purchased the unit. Below is a quick vid

yours looks like a Gen1 unit (front loading SD card) versus the Gen2 (bottom loading SD card). That may be why you most recent update was from 2020.

Yes, the gauge is gen 1 but that firmware was fine (1.24). It turned out to be the 4 channel sensor that had the older firmware version. I never thought to update since the latest online download was from 2020. I was racking my brain for days trying to figure out the problem. Lesson learned.
