Did you install the plug (part 39123504 as per TSB 18-NA-375) Corky talked about?

No, I haven't installed them yet, I wanted to know if they are installed from underneath the car?

The TSB says you need to drill a 30mm hole from the trunk, deburr and apply protection to the newly exposed metal surface, then install the plug from underneath the car.

Is this problem limited to sunroof cars? Ive never had a problem and i wash my car a lot.

Also the TSB is building a safety net and not correcting the water intrusion. Instead of modifications to control the water that has entered, it would be smarter to make modifications to keep the water out.

Agreed...Although I have a sunroof car I've never had any water in the trunk even after some somewhat aggressive automatic car washings on the road.. The plug install went super easy you can pop it in from the bottom without being up on ramps...Sure is cheap insurance if the problem arises but as stated I'd be looking for the source not treating the symptoms...
