Does anyone know what this button is?

Hi everyone, I just purchased a 2020 1SS 1LE and it has this button to the bottom left of the steering column. I didn't find it in the manual and guess it may be aftermarket. I haven't pressed it yet for fear of it being for an ejection seat. Thanks
Sorry for the sideways picture.

Dealer installed antitheft/tracking BS. Follow the wires. If you're lucky it's plugged into the OBD2 port and not spliced into factory wiring. Then you can simply unplug & remove.

First I’d take it right to where I bought it and ask them if it was installed at their dealership. If so, ask them to remove it.

If not maybe try to trace it back to the original dealer where it was bought when new.

If you still have no luck Take it to a REPUTABLE mechanic and have them remove EVERYTHING including whatever the aftermarket module is and all the aftermarket wiring and restore the car completely stock.

You do NOT want that crap interfering with the factory wiring, modules, and other factiry ekectrinucs and accessories.

But keep the button and when someone asks, tell'em that's for when the brakes fail at the end of a "run", that button deploys the emergency chute!
