Maybe they'll do a version for Camaros/Vettes.
I have a set of the SuperSport R's in 305/30-19. 80 TW but their grip was less than SC3R. They were early 2021 production and I got them from Ebay in 2024. Repsonse and steering feel was outstanding but they did not have grip of an 80TW tire. Wear was very good too, the shoulders took the abuse better than the SC3 or SC3R. Granted they are a European market tire that was made in Germany, so that TW rating may only be based on Goodyear's European tires. I still have them, gonna run them on the street. The more aggressive RS variant would be a great tire to try.

Really interesting info thanks! Surprising you found them having less grip than the SC3R. Will look for the RS version in the right sizes.

For contrast, I'll add that the weekend I tried them I also ran a new set of 305/30-19 3R's. Pitt Race. Saturday was a test session for me with new anti roll bars. I ran the SuperSport R. Ran a 1.57.

Previous events:OE 20" SC3 PB was 1.56.1. SC3 in 305/30-19 PB was a 1.54.9.

That evening I had the 3R's mounted on the same wheels. The next day was about the same ambients. First hot session I bested my PB at a 1.52.8.

Those SuperSport R felt like a Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

Was the 3Rs in 305 or on the 20" wheels? Curious the 1.2s delta in 20" vs 19" wheels.

I ran SuperSportR in square 305/30/19. Compared to the 3R, the SSR were 2-3 seconds slower but lasted nearly 7 days. They were durable and highly communicative. I'd run them again if they were readily available and I got the same killer deal on Ebay as last time.

Very curious to see what the new SS RS is all about.

EDIT:
It seems the SSRS is not available in sizes that work for us. You can only get the SSR and even then, unsure of availability in the US.

Circling back on this thread. I ran both the Yoko AD09 at NJMP Lightning and touched a 1:13.09 lap which is the fastest I've ever gone on a street tire (usually 1:15.x). Prior to this event, my PB with scrubs was a 1:12.2. This past weekend tho, I set a new PB on Pirelli DH scrubs and ran a 1:11.43.

So I'm approximately 1.5 seconds off of my new PB on scrubs with the AD09 at NJMP Lightning. The 1:13 laps were no fluke because I touched it on more than one occasion.

Adding up all of my best splits for the Pirellis equaled a 1:10.4 lap time. The fastest splits for the AD09 added up to a 1:12.6.

I did not notice any discernible understeer with the AD09. In fact, I found them to be very responsive. They were able to maintain the pace for a good 20 minutes before fatigue set in. According to the AIM data, the AD09 lost ground in the high G section of turns 2-4. It was negligible everywhere else.

Looks like the SSR is comparable with a 200 tw tire. OK well mounting SC3Rs for Chin this weekend. Michelin Cup 2Rs anyone?

The 3Rs were 305/30-19 squared.

These are my track attack pros after yesterday’s autocross. I’ve done 5 events on a cement surface and about 3000 street driven miles on them. The track alignment seems to wear on the inner side of the tire on both the front and rear first for me. I’m not sure if this is due my driving or what. This is my 2nd set of tires on the same settings that have worn the innner side first.
