how to make camaro fuel rail cover fit with lt2 IM cover

I have seen couple people have the fuel rail camaro cover installed with LT2 IM and cover. I am pretty sure there is some modification required, just wanna see if anyone knows how?

How’d you hide the file line that goes on top?

Also I don’t think there is any specific way to really get it to fit, maybe some modification.

If you're referring to the fuel line that usually runs over the manifold, all you really need is a longer fuel line to route it behind the intake manifold. This image of a Nitrous fed engine would be the perfect candidate for custom fueling since a tap will be needed to feed the fuel solenoid. If you wanted to make a clean engine bay, a custom length fuel line is well worth it to remove it from running over the top of the intake manifold.

this is a picture from someone else, I purchased an E85 kit, that gives me the option to turn the fitting/coupling towards the back and run the fuel line behind the IM

I couldn't find it again in a quick search, but there IS a YouTube video of the LT2 install on a 6th gen and he mentions using standoffs to adapt the stock mounting locations.

Anybody have a link to the YouTube video or the standoffs you can get somewhere? Thanks!

I had mine setup like this. I had to remove the standoffs and reposition them with JB Weld for plastic.
If you have the e85 sensor, DSX can make you a custom length hose to run behind the intake.

I may have mentioned already, but you've done such an elegant job, congratulations. The LT2 intake manifold meshes perfectly with the engine/rail covers, the flex fuel kit is invisible, even your catch can setup looks close to OEM... AAAAND your coolant levels look impeccable

When you have some time, can you pop off those rail covers and post some pics of the underside? Want to see where you positioned the standoffs

Hey a pad, thank you for the kudos. I do tend to be very picky, it drives my wife crazy 😄 I actually have a new setup now since my heads and cam build. I've installed a set of Katech red valve covers along with the coil relocation kit. Will post some pics once I'm done tidying everything up.
