Front tires

This spring I got to get new front tires. (replaced the rears last summer)

I have the oem Goodyear eagle (run on flats)

Been pricing them out and find them $$$$$ was thinking about going to a tire that not a run on flat. Plus I've heard they give a better ride. And better price

If I do go with non run on flats should I change all 4, even though the once on the rear are still goo tread on them. Or can I get put front on?

P. S.

What are some good options out there? It's just a summer driver for me and maybe 7000kms a year

You can find a good tire at tire rack . You don't have to get the most expensive imo. 1.3 degrees neg camber on front will help cornering .

+1 on these. I have them on my Camaro and am quite happy with them.

Most experts, and I'm not an expert, will tell you that ALL four tires should be the same brand and tread, especially for triple digit speed. I swapped out my oem run flats for Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 Plus- as per Grok, and couldn't be happier. Completely different feel and softer ride, even in track mode and very good in the rain and even light snow. I do however miss the "Run flat" insurance of not getting stranded in the middle of nowhere with a flat. So I keep a compressor and a plug kit in the trunk just in case.

I wouldn't mix tire brands and models between front and rear, and especially not when one pair is the stock runflat and another is a non-runflat from Michelin or Continental. You're asking for trouble unless you drive like a grandma all the time, and even then those stock runflats will try to push you off the road in a heavy rain.

Bite the bullet and get 4 tires. SInce you're in Canada, I recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus, it's probably the best all-season tire in our sizes, and while all-season tires are a compromise in warm weather, they will work for you all year round. Also, these Contis are relatively cheap and will last you a really long time with their 560 treadwear rating.

Don't try to save $$ on tires, their 4 small patches are the only thing keeping you on the road and out of the ditch.
