2026 Drag Racing Events
New season is here!
First event today is IHRA Bracket Series at Xtreme Raceway Park (XRP) in Ferris, TX. 1/8 mile. Looking to enter the the Sportsman class but may get bumped to No-Box. Mods since last year are weight reduction. Lightweight battery and removed the passenger seat. Let's GO!

Lost in the 2nd round; double breakout and I was worst. 7.36 laying hard on the brakes.
This class is essentially a 7.50 index class. Most the cars in this class are dialed at 7.50, making for some pretty good heads up racing. Really happy with the car. 1.68 60' times with a 1.66, once.  Next week is the opener for NHRA bracket racing at Texas Motorplex. 1/4 mile.

Missed the TX Motorplex NHRA race but a bit of a twist upcoming. The track I usually race at, XRP, has switched affiliations from IHRA to NHRA. I'll find out tomorrow what that means as far as the race we've already run under the IHRA banner.

7.46-7.49 ETs. Went backwards on my 60' times. 1.72s :(

Atturo AZ850DR. They are pretty much done for. I'm going to put one more race on them next weekend then swap them out for some Nitto NT555RII that I have sitting here.

Yesterday was the first race of the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge (TMCCC) season. Didn't turn out so well. Someone backed into me hard in the staging lanes prior to E1.
Car's going to be down for sometime while it gets repaired. Not sure how much I'm going to miss, but certainly I'll miss the next round of bracket racing at XRP on April 4. Bummer.
