Tire Pressure Sensor

Does anyone have the A/C Delco part number for the wheel pressure sensor for a 2018 Camaro LT RS? Also do they have to be programmed to the car? Thanks

I use 13540598 and never had any issues either with the original kit and then the new ones I had installed last year. Alas, it's pretty expensive, I paid around $200 for 4 pieces even after a smoking hot deal.

The ones I got from an online parts department source came pre-programmed to the Camaro. I only had to relearn the sensors all around using my $10 TPMS tool.

Yes. But you cant "relearn" something that wasn't there. So you have to "learn" it. Or learn-ed if you're from Arkansas.
Its easier to learn them with a tool but you can do it without.
Put it in learn mode from the cluster by highlighting tire pressures and hold enter. It will ask if you want to put the tpms in learn mode.
Once its started. The order is left front, right front, right rear, left rear. The horn will chirp twice when the sequence starts. Then as each wheel is learned, it will chirp once. When all of them are learned it will chirp twice to confirm completion.
If you lose track of what tire your on look at the park lamps, it will illuminate the current corner to learn.
To learn the wheel the tpms sensor needs to be triggered. The learn tool triggers by sending a short range signal to pulse the sensor closest to the tool, the remote control door lock receiver detects the trigger and allocates that signal to the current learn position in sequence. So yes, if you learn them in the wrong order it will show on the dash in that same wrong order.
I haven't tested it with newer GM vehicles because i don't need to but before they could also be triggered by lowering the pressure of the tire you're currently trying to trigger. The loss in pressure was detected as a change and interpreted as a trigger.

Schrader makes the OEM ACDelco sensor, the Schrader part number is 28211. They are $24/ea from RockAuto and include the mounting nut. They do not require programming, only the standard learning process.

Do NOT buy them from Amazon, even the ones that claim to be "genuine GM" are likely fakes and destined to fail.

That's a fantastic tip, I should've thought of RockAuto, too. I have a whole tapestry of their classic car fridge magnets

Sir you are messing with me, I can feel it in my bones "Relearn" is from the car's perspective: it already knows about a set of sensors, but now it needs to relearn its sensor knowledge, because it has become obsolete

It sucks that GM's vehicles can't store more than 4 sensors, having at least 8 slots would be super helpful when swapping wheel/tire sets. I think I understand why, they don't want any confusion when simply rotating the tires, but still, the TPMS memory could be divided into two banks of 4 units that all have to be learned in one session. Or something.

GM tpms is kinda dumb compared to others.
Dodge you do need to program the serial numbers in but once you do that they are good till they die, you can rotate the tires and it will automatically populate the new position.
Nissan will give you a chirp when you have reinflated a low tire to appropriate pressure.
Honda uses wheel speed from the abs system to determine low tires (like gm used to do).
Its not the best but at least you don't have to buy sensors.

Working at dodge i ran into an issue learning tires one day, i would get a tpms light on the test drive but it would go away when i was back in my bay. Turns out, my coworker accidentally swapped one of the wheels on the car i was working on with one of the wheels of the car he was working on. I didn't catch it until he went on a test drive and my tpms light came on.
