Just because it says "A10" does not mean the ZLE which is a 10L90E and shares none of the VB parts that the trucks or NA Camaros have.

To confirm this, I went by my local Five-Star GM Service Dept since my VIN triggered the recall letter due to it being an "A10" but being the ZLE I was told the recall did not apply to my vehicle.

Another interesting note, the 2019 A10 in Project Shocker has a completely different trans pan made out of steel vs the aluminum pan on my 2021 ZLE.

FYI
The steel aluminum pan that was on Project Shocker has been replaced with the later model aluminum pan. Additionally an aluminum bung & drain plug (readily available from Summit Racing) was welded on prior to installation. The small area needed for this allowed it to be welded without deforming the pan. Further an extruded aluminum heatsink measuring approximately 9" x 6" with a solid 1/4" base and 1/4" fins was epoxied using thermally conductive epoxy to the pan for added heat dissipation. Regular epoxy is not thermally conductive and will actually act as a thermal insulator. I know this from my days as an electrical engineer. So it's important to use special structural thermally conductive epoxy. Doing so creates a larger area (9"X 7" Square) of heat transfer from the pan to the heat sink. Using epoxy also prevents warping the pan which would almost certainly occur along with leaks compared to welding aluminum strips as has been theorized as a means of adding cooling capacity by Patriot Motorsports USA.

trying to diag this wheel lockup issue maybe get some confirmation on what a failed one feels like
10l90 swapped ctsv3, so SOL on the tcm programming "fix". fwiw my 10sp/duramax had the recall done, never any issues and none since.

transmission came out of a 2021 zl1 with 3500 miles, doubt i have 3500 mi on it since swapped. powertrain swap solutions kit

transmission has, for the most part, worked problem free for the past 6 months. last couple weeks i have noticed what i would describe as a "dead" shift while giving it light throttle at cruise - the nearest thing it feels like is a very harsh converter lockup. (in hindsight this could very well be the shifting into 2nd issue)

scenario it happens is giving it enough throttle to downshift would definitely feel like it happened but immediately seem to end up in the same gear. definitely no wheel lock up. and so infrequently i havent randomly caught it during a log to at least see what the tcm is trying to do. wasnt annoying/frequent enough to worry about, just assumed it was a little hiccup between ecm/tcm/pss block box.

that was until a few days ago, easy morning run to grab some bagels. no issues on the way. stopped got what i needed, hopped back in, and it was all messed up. loud clack shifting from park into drive/reverse and was just in 4th or 5th gear from a dead stop and wouldnt up shift (guessing gear due to just limping home @ 3k rpm/50mph no shifts).

only codes were p0700 and p175E so not much help. cleared codes, fluid level was good and everything works again like nothing happened so far - short test drive
heard issue may be more prevalent when transmission up to temp/hot, i may try to drive and log a few days to catch something. seems like the sonnax feed limit valve kit is the solution?

edit - ended up ordering the next gen diy kit...figured if i was going through the hassle of dropping the vb and modifying it, I should do more than just the one valve
