Good to hear. I'm assuming you re-installed the headers and the torco ball/socket clamp sealed up good?

I plan on running the car at Lime Rock were they will black flag above 89db noise level. With headers, 3 inch no cat x-pipe and rear pipe the car was louder than this even feeding into the stock suitcase muffler. My understanding is that regardless of mode the valves open at WOT so I had to adjust for this. Given that I had to get the car tuned again for the headers and exhaust and I wanted to add some resonators (two small in the front after the header collector and two longer after the x-pipe) I decided to have V-band clamps installed at these locations and the rest of the joints welded. Now it will be easy to drop the exhaust from the headers to the muffler by simply disconnecting the V-Band clamps and no leaks. |
