Hearing that they were prone to leaks I called ARH and spoke with the owner about my situation. He informed me that for a short period they were having some manufacturing issues making some installations prone to leaks. He requested I sent pictures of what I had which I did. He then informed me that ball joints on my headers and front connecting pipes were fabricated before there manufacturing improvements had been made and offered to correct them free of charge if I wanted to return them.

I did so and they came right back with the rework done and all I had to do was pay for shipping to them.

Their support and communication was exceptional. A great company to do business with who stands by their products and goes above and beyond when there is an issue.

Good to hear. I'm assuming you re-installed the headers and the torco ball/socket clamp sealed up good?

Unfortunately no, while the torco ball/socket clamp sealed up the slip joints elsewhere in multiple places were leaking.

I plan on running the car at Lime Rock were they will black flag above 89db noise level. With headers, 3 inch no cat x-pipe and rear pipe the car was louder than this even feeding into the stock suitcase muffler. My understanding is that regardless of mode the valves open at WOT so I had to adjust for this.

Given that I had to get the car tuned again for the headers and exhaust and I wanted to add some resonators (two small in the front after the header collector and two longer after the x-pipe) I decided to have V-band clamps installed at these locations and the rest of the joints welded. Now it will be easy to drop the exhaust from the headers to the muffler by simply disconnecting the V-Band clamps and no leaks.
