Here it is the final product with my new DYME quick connect fuel lines (soon to be a turn-key kit)... love these quick connects! No more adapters needed!

Super excited to starting tuning this weekend!

Is it possible to run -8 lines from the fuel filter to the sensor? Say if i do 1/2" male quick connect fittings from the filter to the inlet of the sensor? I guess the real question would be is the -8 needed?

Yes sir, would be easy to make the whole system -8. The only part that's has a clearance issues with -8 is from the sensor to the HPFP.... but as you eluded... we are fine with -6 at our power level...

This new PTFE is soooooo easy to work with. It is easily as flexible as rubber hose.

Yeah... I was thinking I was totally done with mods on my car after this latest round. But, I still have the cage, fire suppression system and parachute to install when I get the car back. I really like the fuel filter in an easy access spot, and the E85 sensor is looking good he offers. I just don't want to pull that new Maggie off before I get at least one car season to drive it!

Hey Buddy, Yes sir... Flex Fuel Kits, Fuel Filter Kits, and Fuel Line Kits are all LIVE on the website, and ready for PRE-ORDERS.

DYME is working on my hose kits now, and Advanced Fuel Dynamics is working on my custom harnesses... Super Excited to bring these to market for you all!

As for my Car, got her aligned after installing my set of Ridetech Coilovers... LOVING them so far, will have a separate post on the soon... Spent the last few weeks breaking in my Monster Triple S Clutch with Ultra Lightweight Flywheel... Loving that also, separate post to come... and now have the motor fully broken in... and just started my tuning this week!

Just launched our Camaro Defroster Vent Pods, as well as our Decorative Reservoir Caps... Combined these have been flying off the shelf... only have a few left from the first batch!

Once she is fully tuned, I will be conducting my formal A/B testing for our NEW CSF LT4 Intercooler Bricks (so excited for these) but as always, we need more than bench data...

Upgraded both of my iDash gauges to the PRO and PRO DATA also found in our Stage.I Data Control Package, setting those up now in conjunction with our additional sensors for our additional IAT Sensors (before and after the bricks) our HX coolant temps (before and after the SC) we also offer this for clients who want the same level of data found in our Stage.III Data Control Package. Also have additional temp and pressure sensor installed for our Stage.II Oil Cooler Package with modified Crash bar to fit. This revised kit was delayed as we needed to revise our crash bar design. The first new kits are done and being tested on my car now, and going out to two other clients next week for track / street testing. Preliminary results are AWESOME. These first few kits will have standard AN hoses but by late March will have DYME quick connect hoses! Those are going to be EPIC.

My other project that we just finished is our Remote Tuning Hardware packages as we are now a dealer for HP Tuners... and wanted a way to help save you all time and money when setting yourself up for remote or self tuning...

So much happening, lots more to follow, stay tuned!
Including DYNO number aiming for late this month to see how the new cam is performing, along with the additional E content (now straight pump E) thanks to the addition of our XDI Goliath HPFP and XDI 50+ Injectors.

Not sure how much power she will pick up, but I am sure numbers will go up a little. Seeing 15-16psi on the street so far, super excited to see. I can say, she feels awesome, and boost seems to be holding smooth all the way to redline, where previously I always saw a dip around 5K RPM.

Cheers to going faster and staying cooler...

Good stuff Gabe.

Any plans for a drop-in transmission cooler?

PROGRESS UPDATE - DYNO NUMBERS...

OK, Sorry for the delay guys... been super busy with the new GMS Flex Fuel Kits, and some top secret goodies so the remote tuning has been slow.

That said, the tuning felt just about complete so it was time to head to the DYNO to see how much steam she makes now, and fine tune if needed. Although I made a lot of changes to the car while it was down...

1. Installed (for testing) our Stage.II Oil Cooler
2. Upgraded the gauges in our Stage.I Data Control Package to the PRO Versions
3. Installed our Monster Triple S Clutch
4. Installed our Ridetech Coil-Overs with BMR Lower Control Arms.
5. Installed our new Flex Fuel + Filter + DYME Hose Kit.
6. Installed additional sensors before and after the intercooler bricks so we could get better data when validating our new LT4 1.7L Upgraded Intercooler Bricks.
7. Installed an XDI Goliath HPFP.
8. Installed these Decorative Reservoir Caps.

The only changes made that would have affected HP/TQ was...

1. Changed the camshaft for a BTR Stage.I
2. Freshened our Katech CNC Ported Heads with a proper valve job.

That's it... Same pulleys, similar boost, same ambient temps, same peak timing...
Which is why I was surprised at how much stronger the car felt once we started to do the WOT testing. The car felt like it picked up at least 50rwhp... which is more than I would have expected to make.

Surprisingly, the car ended up making 915rwhp and 850rwhp. That's a bump of 75rwhp and 50rwtq on the same boost, E content and timing.

The goal was simply to make the car more efficient and make more power with the same boost (only 15psi) while blending down to E60. I think it's the perfect combination for a fun street car, while keeping boost low, which makes the car fairly easy to keep cool.

Disclaimer; for those reading this with plans to build your car, I must say clearly... I think 915rwhp 850rwtq is too much for a street car. At this power level the car is dangerous when not pointed straight, and even when you are... conditions must be good in order to stay straight when boost hits. For what it's worth, I think your average driver should aim for the 700-750rwhp mark.

Building mine to 915rwhp was not the goal, simply wanted to see how much power we could make with a 9.2" lower and 2.3" upper on a ported stock blower and Di only fuel system. No meth, no port, no 2650.
Although we could have stayed on the DYNO longer to find more power, we ran out of time, and was happy stopping where we did.

Might test a few other goodies down the road, But for now, she is running good, time to focus attention to a few other pressing items.

I will share an IG or FB link of some of the footage when it's compiled. For now I leave you with the before and after dyno graph...

Cheers to going faster and staying cooler!

Great work! Efficiency definitely pays dividends with great power at very reasonable boost levels.

Nice! Good stuff, Gabe! That is a very healthy mill with the 1.7L at only 15psi in 91deg weather, my friend. You should be very proud. (and still the nicest looking engine bay around)
