I bought a used complete exhaust and may mock it up to see if it will work. My back up plan will be to try a Corsa NPP since the Borla does not have the NPP valves.

Are the stock cats and x pipe worth anything to anyone or are the cats worth more for scrap?

I am a few months from 60 years old and even though I am getting hard of hearing, I don’t want to be completely obnoxious to my neighbors when leaving early mornings for track days or cars and coffee meet ups.

Looking for comments and suggestions.
The Borla ATAK is basically a straight-thru pipe, and I agree, it's way too obnoxious just like any other "straight-thru" design. Especially once you go catless LT headers. I bet you everybody pushing these setups are in their early 20's and think louder equals better, but I don't think anybody else likes those setups unless it's a track car only. For the guys that drive on the street, we have better options.

I would recommend resonators if you can. Either AWE resonated x-pipe, and an exhaust with a muffler/reosnator. I personally have the AWE Touring with resonated xpipe; before that I had Corsa NPP but had also welded on resonators. It only tames down the volume a hair, but it does take the raspy edge off.

If you wan to retain the NPP, Corsa has the quietest "valves closed" system. It sounds stock when closed and race car when open.

Mine is LT, no cats, and straight pipes. I recently removed my Kooks AB, which droned like a demon, and installed the suitcase after cutting out the 2.5" inlets and replacing them with 3". There's no drone, and it's quieter inside the car. Sounds great outside the car. I also pulled the npp fuse to keep all four pipes open.
