Yep I logged in an hour after opening for Chin and didn't get into Friday. Sat only. Crazy.

Saturday was a wash out. I ran all of two sessions. We waited for it to clear up but it didn’t. Rain kept coming down, I elected to not run in it. A GT3RS and a Mustang were both wrecked in the afternoon.

Sunday was amazing! I got checked out to move up run groups and ran a 2:36:55 with a bit of traffic. Garmin tells me an optimal lap was 2:34:86. Chin had added a date in November. I don’t know if I will be able to make both of them but at least one will definitely happen.

There was a great contingent of Camaros this weekend!

Nice!

When I was there in April of 2024 the forecast looked terrible. But the rain could not have worked out any better really. The rain appeared at night and by green flag the following days the track was dry.

That’s exactly what I was hoping for but precisely the opposite happened. It started early in the am, then tapered off around sunset.

I always buy the pictures to see if I’m good on camber settings. I think front looks good, not sure about rear. It’s maxed out with factory parts however so not sure what could be done without changing a bunch of stuff in the rear suspension? (I’m a bit ignorant on this topic)

Plus, sometimes a cool picture is just cool.

Swapping a set of SPL toe rods w/ lockout will get you more toe adjustment which is needed when you exploit the rear camber. This also helps maintain the rear #s and makes the toe adjustment a lot easier. SLP FTW. Great rod ends, easy adjustability. Run away from poly anywhere except anti-roll bar mounts.

I personally think most don't need more than -2* or so rear camber unless you are a max effort TT driver. And tire choice also plays a part. I have run 305/30-19 squared 3R on my SS 1LE and ran -2* rear camber.

Adding SPL's adjustable rear control arms w/lockout will make adjusting camber a lot easier too.

Great pics! I've been thinking about the bronze SM-10RS in BMW spec 18x10.5 ET22.

They do look good, even when covered in brake dust.

That's another advantage of my stock SS 1LE wheels, they come pre-painted brake dust gray
