What would you tune first on a stock 2021 SS 1LE (manual)?
Hey everyone,
I’ve got a 2021 Camaro SS 1LE, 6-speed manual, completely stock right now. I’m starting to learn HP Tuners and trying to figure out what changes people typically make to improve drivability and performance while keeping the car reliable. If you were starting with a completely stock car, what would you adjust first in HP Tuners? Things I’m curious about: • Throttle mapping changes? • Torque management adjustments? • Rev hang reduction? • Skip shift (CAGS) disable via tune? • Fueling or timing changes on a stock car? • Any drivability improvements worth doing without adding parts? Not trying to go crazy or hurt reliability—just looking to make the car feel better than stock while I learn tuning. Curious what experienced tuners or owners would recommend as good starting points. Thanks! |

Torque management is usually for auto cars, i would lower to temps that the fan comes on but that's me . It keeps the plastic coolant components from flexing under pressure so much.

How much would you change the torque management or the peak torque in hp tuners? I've attached both screenshots. Thank you
