OEM SS wheels fit 1LE for winter use?

Looking to pickup a cheap, local set of 20" SS wheels to store my 1LE on during winter months, and then use a bit in the spring before the weather gets consistent.

My 2018 has the stock 305/285 setup on oem wheels. The stock SS wheels are:
8.5 fr 245/40/20
9.5 rr 275/35/20

My concern is the larger overall diameter of the front wheels, does anyone know if these will cause interference issues with the front strut? Can a regular SS be optioned with our MRC struts and these wheels?

Thanks in advance, did a fairly extensive search but pretty much all the results are people running 1LE wheels on SS, not the other way around.

I think my buddy used to run regular SS wheels on his SS 1LE in the winter and it was fine.

Yes, the regular SS can come with mag ride. Your speedometer will be like 1.5 mph off. Forgot if it will show higher or lower (I think it will show lower mph).

No problem at all with this fitment. As noted, the regular SS can come with Magride and it is otherwise identical to the SS 1LE in terms of wheel/tire fitment. I actually run the base-model 18x8.5 et32 wheels with equally-tall 245/50/18 tires. Those tires are the same width and diameter as the SS fronts, but the SS wheels sit 12mm further outboard than mine...and mine still clear everything.* You'll be completely fine.

*Except the 1LE air deflectors for the front brakes, which are screwed to the lower control arm. At full steering lock, my base wheels rub those. I just remove the deflectors for winter. The SS wheels won't hit them at all because they are bigger in diameter and have 12mm less offset.

Any 6th gen Camaro wheel will work on the 1LE. I ran the base model 18"s with winter tires.

Your car is an SS... of course an SS wheel will fit.
