We will be there with Chin valentines weekend, then again for their fall date.

We went last year for the fall date, it was awesome. It sucks that it’s going away for most of us.

I've been going since 2018. COTA Membership provides at least 250 days of track access, which leaves 115 days for other things, so we're hoping a few HPDE weekends will happen after all the big racing events.

Looks like Chin is back in April. Haven't run with them in years but will look into it. PCA has another event as well in April.

Don't hold out hope, maybe private test days for big race teams is in the cards, but don't count on any HPDEs. Clubs have already been informed that there will be no dates in 2027+. The writing was on the wall earlier last year when they announced they were going to make it a private club, it seems many didn't catch the news at the time.

Sad to see, it's a cool track. I'm planning to hit one of the dates this year.

Got word from one HPDE group: As many of you may have already heard, Circuit of the Americas has informed us that 2026 will be the final year they will host HPDE events and club racing. Beginning in 2027, COTA plans to operate as a private, members-only facility.

What’s the cost of becoming a member? COTA hasn’t said publicly. To put things in perspective, there’s a $175,000 initiation fee for the Thermal Club in California (after you buy a house track side), with $2400 monthly dues, according to The Athletic. We expect COTA to top that.

I've heard as high as 500K to 1 MIL.

Unfortunately, it is official now. I received the same email today from Edge Addicts. (It was also confirmed via email by Hooked on Driving last week according to a buddy.)

Awesome will look for you. I also signed up for Chin and will continue to blow out the budget for PCA and EA again in April. Those registrations open in a couple of weeks.

I get all the Edge Addicts email's (and other groups) except didn't get the one for the March event being open for registration. By the time I looked it was sold out. Chin opened up at 9PM est and by the morning was sold out except Sunday only. Crazy.
