Also repurpose a new factory in Tennessee to build gas powered pick-ups instead of electric, while cancelling a contract with a Korean battery maker and to stop making car batteries here in the US and make batteries for data centers instead.
So, I suppose anything is possible for the future of "muscle cars". Of course, for much of the country the driving season for them may continue to shrink if we keep getting this crazy, unexplainable weather.
OP your new car is beautiful and yeah you're gonna love it. It is a "keeper".
It was 75 degrees here today. Winter wont really be here until next month. Then it will be over after 4 weeks.

That's a beautiful car! I love the fender hash marks, they add a bit of a unique touch. I had a 1994 Z28 for 27 years, and traded it in on my 2020 2SS. At 55 years old, the car is incredibly comfortable, tons of creature comforts, yet still so much fun to drive. I had a lot of fun with my Z28, but this is a totally different class of car. You'll love it for many years!

As a side note on the comfort - 2 years ago, my wife had 32 radiation treatments, and we hopped in the Camaro 2 days later and drove from southern Wisconsin to St. Pete Beach FL, drove around Florida for a week, then drove home. Around 3,400 miles, and my wife didn't have any issues, she was very comfortable. And I drove every single one of those miles, and enjoyed every bit, LOL.

I'm old, sometimes hard to get in and out of her, but once you are in, she is wrapped around you, and I have never had any comfort issues either.

Good thing my wife came in a few minutes earlier and not now, so she didn't see me reading this... I know the title says CAMARO6, but I might have had a hard time convincing her

Just curious, what do you consider "old?"
To me age is just a number.

Thanks for all of the responses.

I had forgotten 1-4 skip shift like a bad dream, the first mod will be to defeat it.

I thought I would definitely want to take the hash marks off, but I like the way they look in person.

The engine does not have a Performance Build plaque.

Ahh yes, the dreaded skip shift! A good first mod indeed (and cheap, less then 20 bucks)

Then you ain't old yet! If you were then p47dman's post would have you still rolling on the floor! That's the funniest ever, IMHO. Up until you're old, your age IS just a number.
You're first mod is spot on OP! Of course, it's the first I did. Also, another +1 for the hash marks. I've always liked mine and have always noticed the car just gets a great deal more attention than a base 1SS should.
I love it of course, but people always seem kinda surprised when I tell'em it's just a Camaro- nothing limited about it (you shoulda bought one dear, we're talkin' less than $40K!)
Lots of other good less expensive suggestions, but my next recommendation would be to save up for a Hurst shifter next- just IMHO.

Fuel economy feature on M6 Camaros. Got to be above a certain RPM to shift 1-2 otherwise you shift from 1-4 skipping 2nd and 3rd.

On the ‘99 model, the popular method I found to defeat skip shift was disconnecting the connector at the transmission and inserting a resistor (somewhere in the 400 ohm range if memory serves me) in the computer side of the connector to fool it into thinking there was still a solenoid in the circuit. Now, for $20 bucks they offer an eliminator that has factory style plugs, and also plugs into the transmission to keep grit out of its connector. Amazing progress.
