My 2018 camaro oil pump went out....need a good shop for replacement

My 2018 camaro zl1 oil pump took a crap on me I need a good shop with a reasonable price to get it repaired and yes I know its pricey. I stay in the dfw area closer to mansfield. Does anybody have any suggestions?

How is it failed? Loss of pressure or variable oil control valve?

A friend of mine works in Arlington. He recently changed shops so i dont remember the name of it. I will call him tomorrow. He is probably the only tech ive worked with that i will without a doubt say is better than i am.

Sorry to hear about that buddy...
If you are willing to drive to Austin, I can highly recommend Exodus Performance. Let me know if you need an introduction.

Ive been seeing P06DE codes on GM vehicles a whole lot. LTG and LKW mostly and those have solenoids that are separate from the pump, but i wouldn't be surprised if it's the same pressure contol solenoid across the board. I had a wrangler in the other day with the same failure but that one needed the pump because the solenoid wasnt sold separately.

If you have the ability to look at live data then you could see both pressure, before and after the regulator. That would be a good info to have to determine if it was safe to drive or if it needs to be towed.

Labor is 18.2 hrs. But that was using my VIN which is for an SS.
The solenoid isn't sold separately from GM but the oil pump really isn't very expensive. $164 is my cost i would guess you will end up paying about $280 for the pump.
