Did you know?

Did you guys know the painted dot on the lip of a can tells you what side the straw sits on inside the can?

Finally. I've always pointed the nozzle at the dot, but never bothered to find out why

Lol yea. If you're spraying down then point the nozzle to the dot. If you're under the car spraying up, point it away from the dot.

And +1 for "didn't know that until today"! Thank you, sir! It all adds up, this knowledge base we pass on to younger generations as they think "so what?".
Actually, I have a granddaughter that will see the value in that info. You never know enuff or too much.

Not sure that I've ever had a need for it, but good to know just the same!

Here is a useful one.

If you need a screw to not fall off of your screwdriver. Use a magnet. Take the magnet starting by the handle and slide it down the shaft of the screwdriver all the way off. Now the screwdriver will be magnetic. Its not really strong but it's usually enough to hold the screw.
To remove the effect just turn the magnet 90 degrees and do it again.
The stronger the magnet you use the more effective it will be. Also longer screwdrivers will be more effective.

Same thing works for extensions, knives, wrenches.

Funny story on that one, i magnetized all the butter knives in the drawer to mess with my wife.

If you're tired of the faded and frayed edges, that nice F1FTY center badge can be swapped onto a new plate. You could even go aftermarket and get a carbon fiber one, then swap the badge over.

Here's what I did for my 2018 that came with a simple red SS emblem and I wanted something more unique.

I'm actually still considering the steering wheel you suggested a while back. But i need to change my wheels and tires first.

Cool I still absolutely love that steering wheel, the girth is just perfect and the whole contraption doesn't look half bad either.
