Camaro 2ss engine Katech need help
Hi Y'all I'm new here, I recently bought a 2020 2ss Camaro to part out. I typically buy and sell cars in Texas but decided to buy this Camaro to sell parts from.
I noticed that the manifold was from BTR, but once I pulled the engine from the engine bay I read the block said Katech on it, the harmonic balancer was from Innovator West Inc and also had a LME delete timing cover kit. I was wonder how to see what kind of block it is from Katech because they have 3 different blocks for the lt1 and lt4 and how to determine pricing for the entire engine plus engine cradle plus transmission. Also wanted to see if anyone was interested in it. |

Most likely you are reading "Katech" on the cylinder heads. Katech offers a cylinder head porting option where you can send in your heads for porting or you can buy heads outright from them. The possibilities of the internals of the engine are endless. The LME cover means that it most likely has a DOD delete kit which means it probably has an aftermarket cam also. If "Katech" is really on the block, I would think it might have a serial number also. Your best bet it to post some pictures, but a true evaluation can only be done by disassembly of the engine.
