So is this just one-of vaporware or are individual pieces available to others as well ?

But back to the important stuff! Whether you see me or Christian commenting in threads or not - we see them and we hear what you are saying. For all of those who filled out the form I am very appreciative. That way I have something to back up my opinion and recommendations when we review or discuss the Camaro market. And for those who added details on volume with the addition of headers etc is another great data point that I will be sure gets into the conversation internally as well.

I know it is easy/trendy to vilify brands, but at least in our industry we are just fellow gearheads on the other end of the keyboard, and for me I am doing my job because I love it but also so I can afford to take my car to the track, which I think we can all get behind.
Of course we are friends!!

Let me be clear that I did not make a call to Alyse Borla, reach out to my past two decades of freebies from Magnaflow, nor did I cash in to get free stuff from Corsa after they have supplied numerous systems for our offshore racing teams. Nope... I reached out to AWE because for me, quality and having the correct parts matters 100%. I paid for the parts to build a system without any promise from John this system would take off. I also relied upon the feedback I got, whether or not it was genuine or implied, but if you run the AWE YouTube channel you will see I clicked the sharing link as a collaborator and sent John the codes to share all metrics as well. I offered 100% transparency as well as sending your company all the installation photos so there was no question what it takes to make this system for our cars.

Sure I am excited about the final product and have hopes your company will see there it merit to building it. Right now I have four ZLEs in my shop and I would buy a new system for each one of them as well as the dozens of people who have sent in requests. Maybe we can call this system, "Field of Dreams" axle back... cause if you build it, they will come buy it. So no vilification here, just straight up pride for the sound and quality with a heavy dosing of hoping you build it because I do not want to.

To answer those who are asking if I can build the system for the midpipe, sure I probably could, but there are a few manufacturing tweaks that AWE can make to wrap this system up to make it better. Lets give them some more time and see what they can do.

If they do build it, I hope they do it in such a way it can mate up to their X-pipe. I have v-bands on my x-pipe, and I’d like to be able to take this valved version into my exhaust shop, have them throw some v-bands on it (maybe cut length if required, obviously) and throw it in there.

Don't judge my welding... I usually hire someone for that.

I only had to make the tubes going from the valves to my existing midpipe to the NPP from American Racing. It was just a couple bends I had laying around and used their slip-fit clamps to make it all work. I did add my own stainless mounts for the OEM hangers aft of the axle which went to the original suitcase pipes. As for everything else, it fits as you see. Not impossible for someone who has the capability to fabricate two short tubes.

So technically speaking, if we wanted to do this ourselves all we would have to do is grab a Switchpath setup and do some light fabrication to make it work? That's at least what I gather from this. That plus grabbing the NPP valves of course.

Looks like nice welds to me! WAAAAY better than most exhaust shops would have done, man.

That's great, thank you!
This looks so straight forward - AWE is 80% there with what they have on the CT4-V Blackwing.

To rebuild this, one would actually only need these marked parts (plus some exhaust tips). Wondering if AWE is selling these as separate parts?

This looks fantastic, and I imagine it sounds the part, too.

With the center muffler piece I don't think the diffuser would parachute much, if any, so we wouldn't need any extra bumper belly cover either.

I bought everything as separate parts. Do not forget the actuator extensions, the tip hardware, pretty much everything from B-F to wrap this system up as well as buying the actuators and the springs for the valves.

Did you do a weight comparison with the stock exhaust just curious of the difference.

No... not at all but the AWE system is considerably lighter, just from the "OMG I'm about to Effing drop this damn suitcase POS and mess up the tips on the concrete!!"

Yup, there was definitely a weight savings, but I did not measure it.
