Question ZL1 1LE wont make more than 3lbs of boost

As the title says, my 2019 ZL1 1LE refuses to make more than 3lbs of boost, and it has no CEL. The car runs and drives great, minus being down heavily on power. I have checked the Boost Solenoid and associated parts, and they all seem to be working. Can't find any boost leaks, and nothing obvious sticks out as far as wiring/electrical goes; the belt and all pulleys are also solid. Curious if anyone here has experienced this or has any advice on further diagnosing the problem, thanks!

Bleed your super charger. air bubble(s) may have formed in the system. also check for proper flow incase the pump is going bad.

^^^ this

Several members had similar issues with their LT4 supercharger, and bleeding its cooling circuit fixed it. (Well, in addition to letting the air out, adding a reservoir like it's done with Magnuson and Whipple units is the true ultimate solution.)

I got this aftermarket reservoir prob 5 years ago after I had the same issue. Bought the car in Texas, drove it home to AZ and no issues few weeks later I took it out for a drive and I was like... it seems ALOT slower. I did the "affordable" bleeding *aka cut in 1/2 2liter and a hose* and some bubbles came out. Took it for a drive and it was "better" or so I thought.

I did full exhaust and a few other small mods but needed a tune thats when I found out the pump was going out, causing really high temps and causing the blower pretty much not give me full boost. So it got replaced and been running great for years.

I used this aftermarket reservoir. Its been out for a while and there may be more affordable options...but ill never have to worry about air bubbles again.

Installed this same reservoir in hopes of fixing this issue, and just because I wanted it, but it made no changes unfortunately.

Have you confirmed there is actual flow? The pump is a small pain to get to to see if its working properly

Well, when I installed the reservoir, it seemed to suck down the fluid faster than I could fill it so I would think so haha. What would be the best way to confirm?

Should be able to just see from the reservoir. As far as determining actual flow, that idk
.

Gotcha, yeah when I jump the pump fuse I can hear it activate so i assume its working correctly. This issue has been quite the head-scratcher for sure. Took it to a shop, and they had it for over a month and couldn't figure it out. They originally thought it was the bypass control valve but nothing changed when they replaced it.
