I recommend reaching out to Hagerty and come to an agreement with what the vehicle is valued at. Comparable values can be found online looking at the average sale price for a 2023 ZLE in your region.

State Farm is likely refusing to ensure due to the high rate of theft.

Are you saying your premium from hagerty is double? I had my zle on my state farm policy, garaged, documented milage of ~1k a year, etc and the monthly was really expensive for how little I drove it. It started out reasonable but over the years here in California it's skyrocketed to compensate for the fire insurance debacle. I swapped it to hagerty and it dropped to less than half what I was paying at state farm.

I had a similar issue with a recent quote from NCM. Expected it to be half of my USAA insurance, but it was double.

I have a Hagerty policy set at 76k agreed value on my 23 ZL1. 3 cars on policy, pretty low cost.

I put my ZL1 on hagerty and it is the same as compared to my previous SS 1LE with state farm. I did a quote on the ZL1 and it jumped 3-400 a year.

My 2018 2SS 1LE, granted not a fancy as the ZL1, is $100 month with full coverage
250/500/300 coverage.
It is on with my home insurance and 3 other cars, multi car/policy discounts apply.

I also take it off during winter when it is stored, which then drops it lower but still covered.

Full coverage for my 2023 ZL1 is $119/ month with State Farm. Storage/Garage insurance only is $23/month during the winter months. So since I dont daily drive my ZL1(Put less than 250 miles on it from May to November each year), I keep the Storage/Garage insurance on it until a weekend that I take it out. Then I call them, put the full coverage back on for the weekend and they automatically put the Storage insurance back on, on the Monday after, unless I specify another day. Have saved a ton doing it that way vs keeping the full on it year round.

I have 8 cars. The only one on a collector car policy is my 1971 Datsun 240Z with Hagerty at an agreed value for about $400 a year.

I debated many times and got "collector car/agreed value" quotes on some of the others over the years, BUT...
I was very leery of the fine print (vaguely worded IMO restrictions on use) and decided to NOT go that route. My fear is that should there be a claim, the carrier would POSSIBLY refuse the claim based on the incident (coming out of a Walmart parking lot or running an errand) due to an interpretation of those restrictions. They are generally not in business to pay claims.

Fortunately, the "fair market value" on most of my "fun cars" (Corvette, Shelby GT500, Cayman, ZL1, and Mercedes SL450) is near what agreed value would be, and my risk aversion and several conversations with my agent and other agents convinced me to stay with my normal policy on the other 7 cars.

I have an agreed value policy on my 2017 with Grundy (Philadelphia) at $75k for $950/yr, garaged with "collector's car" driving restrictions. So no school, errands or work, etc. Only shows, cruise-ins, car meetups, and going out for ice cream (yes ice cream is in writing in their standard policy).

That's a decent price, but I'm not sure the trade off is worth some company telling me when I can drive my car.

But I also understand everybody has different goals, uses, and perspectives.
