I agree, the belt selection isa bit then for 10-rib... but luckily it is not hard to cut 2 ribs off a 12-rib belt (thats what I just did to get the tightest fit possible)... she is a beauty! I am confident the 12-rib will be helping you out!

I actually was born in upstate VT, about 3 miles from the Canadian border…! So I’ll still be quite a ways from THAT far north lol. ![]() New garage looks to have 10’ ceilings as well and although they call it an oversized 2 car garage, it has virtually the same square footage as my existing 3 car garage. So I think I’ll be fine, and besides, with 7.4 acres I suspect I can add another garage if my car addiction does not subside (or run out of money lol)! ![]() Quote:
That said… a REAL 12-rib setup would be epic… hmmm….might be a project for this winter.

I think I can probably tackle that if Mike doesn’t want to… we’ll see. The move will screw up a couple of months on me since I won’t want to take the car apart beforehand. But if we get into February and I’m bored, look out lol…

What is this rookie hour? Wrap your damn belt!
xtremecfm.com has a bunch of idler sizes to choose from if you really want to get it dialed in. I had to work hard to get the belt slip to stop on the vette. Hitting 21psi after almost a year of messing things. ZL1 surprisingly picked up almost 1psi after putting the idler on in that pic. I didn’t even think the shit was slipping but did it anyway after all my vette struggles.

I was too busy being a smartass and forgot I actually have a 80mm xtremecfm idler that didn’t work on the vette. Never ran. It appears you have the Toohighpsi idler which is 74mm. I will ship it to you and you can try it first if you want. Same one like the pic I sent only that one was 90mm.

![]() If I don’t do that then I’ll hit you up in a few months so that I can mess around with the idler pulley.
