Details don’t match the photos (paint appears to be Panther Black Metallic, ZL1 spoiler with Panther vinyl on the side still visible, Collectors Edition badging on steering wheel & Collectors Edition specific floor matts), the sole VIN that matches the options shown comes back as stolen. They’re supplying this 2020 VIN when asked: 1G1FE1R78L0010757

This supplied VIN has no window sticker available from GM but there are some 2020 cars that didn’t get added to the API so can’t officially check, can’t find a photo of the car online to compare against. - Edit: see post #3. Fake VIN

The plate in the photo returns as: JTHBH96S365011356 - 2006 Lexus GS

Based off the options shown throughout the photos, only 1G1FF1R75R0118727 returns as the sole match.

Looking more into the supplied VIN, it isn’t a real VIN.

1G1FE1R78L0010757 - Sequence (last 6) 010757

Shows good against a check digit calculator and appears as a 2020 1SS Coupe but according to the VIN card (https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...68&postcount=3), that VIN is a manual.

Also for the 6th gen, production sequence has always started at 100001, this vin is 010757 which is way too early.

I tried adding the car online on GM’s owner center and it added as a 2020 SS but even their site is just using the VIN decoder and not checking against valid VINs

Blow this up, post it on whatever social media you can, let everyone know about this possible... Take these pieces of shit down... I HATE THIEVES... Burn in hell, assholes...

However, the windows sticker says "Red Painted Calipers", however this car has Yellow Calipers (I kinda doubt the thieves would paint the calipers...) A 2020 1LE would have RED calipers... Also, the LT1 Hood Badge appears to be missing as well (easily removed, but why?)...

I believe in the replies they wrote the calipers were still red underneath, guess they wrapped them. They deleted the post after being called out but I see another post came up with photos to spread the word in the group on FB.

I saw the collectors edition hood stripe was gone as well, usually see thieves remove vinyl or rewrap the car to avoid being caught by a BOLO but that just seems stupid when the cars still the same without a stripe and badge

Thieves are stupid, can't fix stupid... If they had half a brain and could actually make an honest living, they wouldn't be thieves... But they are still thieves... So you have your answer... They are simple stupid people...

Hopefully they get caught, thrown in jail and end up with a cellmate named "Bubba" and hopefully "Bubba" has been REALLY, REALLY lonely for a REALLY, REALLY long time... And perhaps "Bubba" can finally have some peace... And a good nights sleep... And stealing the Camaro from an honest owner will sting for a very long time...
