If you track your ZL1 - exhaust tip polishing

I track my ZLE often and within the first couple of events, the outboard exhaust tips got discolored. A bit of a gold tint. They don't clean up and polish like the inboard tip. I assume the metal has permanently changed color from the heat. Has anyone been successful bringing those tip back to life and matching the inboard tips?

I used fine steel wool with soap and water followed by polishing compound after each event and they were like new again.

I use the same. It's like black magic; ridiculous how good it works.

Same here! My first sixth gen, a CPO 2016 1LT, looked like the exhaust tips had never been cleaned. Nevr Dull and elbow grease did the trick!
