Boost Creep: Thanks! It was a thrill ride and amazing for such a stock vehicle other than power increases. I don't have high confidence that shifting into 6th would increase the speed...putting the rpm too low for to accelerate. I think the car is nearly optimally geared. If one were to install a larger aftermarket blower as my tuner suggested - the high air temps I experienced would very likely be minimized...gaining a few more mph not too mention the increased boost possible.

Jannetty: Thanks! Tuning was key to keeping the 416 alive for a ~35 second WOT run...especially with the marginal low side fuel pressure and seemingly need for better than 98 European Octane fuel.

Shell used to sell 100 octane fuel in Germany and other EU countries, which would be at least slightly better than the typical 98.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Santa brought a new set of rear tires...on order since August 16th! $400 a piece!...Didn't seem that long ago when I could recall a 275 mm Goodyear GSC was just under $200!
