Great picture but exactly the shadowed area the interior is where mine were coming undone. You wouldn't see it unless you were standing right there but nonetheless...

You can't go wrong with an AWE!

Very good comparison video! We are big fans of AWE. Their touring really does have exceptional drone reduction/elimination.

WHAT TO DO WITH NPP???? Just purchased AWE Touring Axle back, have been told to just unplug NPP valves and tape up the plug, other suggestions are to unbolt the valve from the exhaust and tuck it away with wire ties leaving plug connected. What have you done????

I tucked the plug up in plastic and zip tied it up under the car, I left the valves attached to the suitcase.

Same here. I used electrical tape over the plugs to keep them clean in case I ever decide to use them again, and they are zip tied out of the way. I actually just checked on the plugs the other day and are still doing great.

If anyone is looking for a less expensive option, check out the PLM (Private Label Manufacturing) exhaust. Same design, stainless steel and comes with brackets that hold the valves out of the way.

Comparing that exhaust to the AWE Touring is like saying, if you can’t afford a new Z06 just buy an old S2000 because it also revs to 8500 RPM so it’s the same thing lol

Yea, I know... "you get what you pay for". But a CAI and axle-back is all I plan to mod pertaining to the powertrain. So for me, it was the best bang for the buck. The quality met my expectations and gives the sound I was looking for. Plus I've bought premium exhausts before and been disappointed with the sound and/or drone, and then stuck with an expensive system I don't like.
Could be worse. I could've gone old-school and put cherry bombs on it

With the fuse pulled does it throw a code? I’m looking at the MBRP axel back but the place I’m getting it done at is quoting $300 for npp disable. I would only do that if it’s always throwing a check engine light
